Abhirup Dasgupta is an advocate with over seventeen years of experience in insolvency, banking and commercial litigation before India’s superior courts and tribunals.
A 2008 graduate of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, he represents lenders, promoters, Resolution Professionals, acquirers and other stakeholders before the NCLT, NCLAT, High Courts and the Supreme Court. He has appeared in some of the earliest and most consequential matters shaping the Indian insolvency landscape.
Prior to founding Dasgupta Chambers in 2026, he was Partner at HSA Advocates for eight years, having previously practised at Dhir & Dhir Associates and earlier at J Sagar Associates and Bennett Coleman & Co.
